Leadership Merced Alumni Association is comprised of graduated Leadership Merced participants. The role of Leadership Merced Alumni Association is to provide graduates an avenue to channel the momentum of excitement and desire for community awareness that is gained through the Leadership Merced program.
The commitment sounds large, but by the end of the program year graduates have created great new friendships, become well networked in the community, and increased their knowledge and appreciation for what it takes to govern communities.
Since Leadership Merced opened its first class in 1984, there have been over 400 participants who continue to serve the community in meaningful and effective ways.
The object of Leadership Merced Alumni Association is to inspire participants to become effective change agents in their communities, as well as providing continued networking opportunities to become new community leaders.
